Using Storytelling to Educate Communities and Inspire Patients

Personalizing Patients’ Journeys

Ritz Communications had been a partner with a major pharmaceutical company for more than two years providing counsel and media relations support for several of the organization’s oncology products in the U.S. and internationally.

Through conversations with company representatives in various international markets, we learned that additional support was needed to help generate awareness for certain types of cancers and illustrate the company’s commitment to these patients.

Ritz Communications developed and executed a traveling photography exhibit featuring individual stories and portraits of patients from five different countries. The exhibit illustrated their journeys, shared their insights and highlighted their survival to inspire others affected by these cancers.

The exhibit debuted at a major international oncology conference and was displayed at major medical conferences and in countries throughout Europe and North and South America to generate support from government officials, healthcare providers, advocacy organizations and patients.
