Elisabeth Ritz founded Ritz Communications in 2003 in anticipation of an evolution in client service. Establishing one of the first virtual agencies with a handpicked team of senior-level communications experts, located across the US, Canada and the UK, Elisabeth and her team committed to provide the highest level of client service. This approach, and the dedication of the Ritz team, has been rewarded with numerous long-term client relationships and PR industry recognition.
Prior to founding the agency, Elisabeth led global communications efforts for the oncology, endocrinology and women’s health divisions at Eli Lilly & Company. She also gained valuable agency experience at MSL in New York and Ketchum in New York and Chicago.
Elisabeth earned a master’s degree in corporate public relations and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University, where she lectures in the Integrated Marketing Communications program and serves as an advisor to the program’s Journal of Integrated Marketing Communications. In addition, Elisabeth studied broadcast journalism and television production at New York University. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves on several professional boards including HealthyWomen, the National Women’s Health Resource Center.
