A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a good designer is priceless.
Any PR professional knows that campaign success often depends on strong visuals to make the emotional connection. Ritz Communications projects come to life in vivid color with the work of Robert Viola and his team at Robert Viola Partners.
Collaboration at the outset of a project is the secret to success, Rob says.
“Working collaboratively on initiatives is such a powerful approach,” he says. “Messaging and branding are so much more aligned and more consistently communicated across an entire campaign when they are conceptualized together.”
As one of Ritz Communications’ agency partners, the RVP team brings award-winning, full-service branding to Ritz Communications PR services. The two agencies team up to deliver multi-channel initiatives that include website design and development, trade show booth design, advertising and signage, and much more.
“We rely on Rob and his team not only for exceptional visuals, but also for their expertise in best-practice execution,” says Ritz content specialist Marnie Hayutin. “There are so many fine details to address in a branding campaign. You need a talented designer who also knows whether banner text should be title case or sentence case.”
Rob and the Ritz team have worked together for more than a decade, beginning with a sweeping, data-driven campaign for the Illinois Medical District. Developing the narrative and the visual identity in tandem, the partners created a series of street banners that communicated the key attributes of the district. The stories were also reflected on the website and shared through many media channels.
“It was strong because we never worked in a vacuum,” Rob says. “We came together to really understand what made the district special, and we developed the creative to reinforce their story and make it relatable to their audience.”
It was the picture-perfect start of a beautiful partnership.
